Energy poverty affects billions worldwide, hindering development and perpetuating cycles of poverty. This article highlights the humanitarian imperative of providing access to reliable, affordable energy in underserved regions. We focus on the role of modular, deployable generators, including small-scale natural gas, SMRs, and advanced renewables, which can be rapidly installed and scaled to meet local needs. These solutions offer decentralized power generation, reducing reliance on fragile central grids and enabling critical services like healthcare, education, and clean water. The Fusion Star Project advocates for strategic investment in these technologies as part of a global plan to uplift communities and promote sustainable development.
